Zoobie Factor #1: FPS

It might be hard to say what the #1 Zoobie factor is, so these factors won't really be ranked in any way; just numbered according to order of how I think of them.

For my first Factor: The Flooders (AKA FPS: Flooder Pants Syndrome)

I don't know what it is or the why or the how, but it seems daily I see people walking along with their pants high above their ankles. Normally with White socks on and tennis shoes. Now I realize there could be a economic factor involved here, so in that case I can understand. However, the majority of the times I see these wonders, the person is well kempt, dressed nice, and well their pants are just pulled up a little bit too high. Maybe it's a lack of fashion sense, or a lack of care, or maybe the person is just sticking it to the man. (The fashion man that is....) Perhaps this person is better informed than I am, and knows something about a coming Flood (Noah repeat anyone?)

No matter what it is, I'm proud to say I do not suffer from FPS!!! At least not now. I'm sure there are picture of me as a child with flood pants. Maybe I'm a past Zoobie :)

Zoobie Factor #0

"Cosmo wants YOU to be a ZOOBIE!!"

BYU is a good school. This is a fact. However, there are many reasons why a person would or would not want to attend. As everyone has their own opinion and reasons why they wouldn't come, there might be some thing that are holding people back.

Every time my Dad talks about a girl named Michelle and how he broke up with her to date my Mom, sometimes he tells us she (Michelle) said "you're dumping me to date a zoobie?" Well that word, Zoobie, has taken on a significantly different meaning for me since I have been at BYU. There REALLY is a "Zoobie" stereo type, and it DOES exist. The purpose of this blog will be to educate the public on what a zoobie is, zoobie give aways (not freebies, signs a person is a zoobie), and how to possibly avoid being a Zoobie. Being a Zoobie isn't necessarily a bad thing, however I take pride in knowing (well according to my own standards at least) I am not a Zoobie. Yes, I do go to BYU, and I do love my Cougars, but I am by no means a Zoobie. This Blog will explain why.

Each entry will be entitled as a factor. Since this is just an explanation, this is Factor #0. I'm hoping to reach at least 50. I might need help later on, so hopefully I can get some followers to give me some good ideas. Happy Zoobi'ing!
